Global Irish Radio (GIR) is Irish radio by the diaspora for the diaspora!   Irish Radio programs from Ireland and Irish communities around the world promoting Irish music, heritage & culture.

​GIR is in essence, a global platform for Irish diaspora serving radio programs - a 'one-stop-shop' or 'go-to' platform for Irish radio programs from Ireland and the world.  GIR  launched with a small number of programs using Chicago as a pilot city and has gradually added new programs from other regions including Boston, New York, Toronto,  Philadelphia, Auckland, Sydney, London and more.   Traditional radio stations have one mindset - GIR reflects the flair and flavor of many - the Global Irish Nation!
