GIR is in essence, a global platform for Irish diaspora serving radio programs - a 'one-stop-shop' or 'go-to' platform for Irish radio programs from Ireland and the world. GIR launched with a small number of programs using Chicago as a pilot city and has gradually added new programs from other regions.
